Jared grew up as a gifted child and developed a passion for technology and learning early in life. By age fourteen he was a chess champion, published short story writer, decorated member of the Scouts Canada program, singer, pianist, award-winning tuba player, and competitive game programmer. Jared received a full scholarship for his post-secondary education. He graduated with one of the highest overall grades in his class and was added to the Durham College Deans' Honour List in 2003.
In 2005 Jared was recruited by the RCMP and trained as a cadet in Regina. After training he was stationed at the Commissionaires Corps of Canada national headquarters in Toronto as a technical officer and security supervisor. Among other accomplishments during this time, Jared personally assisted then-President of Portugal Aníbal Cavaco Silva with security during state visits, acted as a remote parole officer for the Department of Justice Correctional Services of Nova Scotia, and was the security detail officer-in-charge for Toronto Nuit Blanche two years in a row.
In 2006 during a ceremony at the Royal Military Academy, Jared received the highest award in the Commissionaires for bravery. Afterward Jared began working for Assistant Deputy Minister Frank Denton in the Ontario Provinical Government. Over the next four years he was involved with several high-level provincial and federal programs involving technnological upgrades of law enforcement, government, legal, transportation, health care, and tourism systems. This included working for Metrolinx, Go Transit, Community Health Care Centre Program, Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Ontario Ombudsman Office, Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and the Ontario Olympic Secretariat among others.
After a three-year role in the private sector as a senior technologist during the Ogilvy Renault-Norton Rose LLP law firm merger of 2011, Jared was again offered the chance to attend post-secondary college with full scholarship. In 2014 he graduated in Software Engineering Technology from Centennial College. Over the next few years he learned several programming languages and developed a passion for web and game development while working as a freelance developer.
Jared accumulated an impressive list of clients as a freelance developer and IT project manager. Coupling his past work experience with his programming skills, there doesn't seem to be any problem Jared cannot solve. Jared has been involved with innovative projects such as the One Laptop Per Child Program, Backpacker College, Pretty Bird App, Billy Bishop Shuttle Bus App, Codezilla Kids, and the national rollout of self-serve kiosks in all McDonalds restaurants.
Jared is now an IT Director and senior developer living in Toronto. He has been married to the lovely and supportive Camla since 2008. They are the proud parents of three beautiful children.
Most recently, Jared has created a niche for himself developing websites for YouTube content creators, journalists, political candidates, and celebrities.
Jared has a serious passion for developing elegant, practical solutions using cutting-edge technology. His natural aptitude for simplicity and creative problem-solving makes him sought after worldwide. Jared has been involved in some of the biggest and most impactful Canadian tech projects in recent memory. Always on the frontline of innovation, Jared's work shapes the world.
In his free time, Jared teaches rock climbing, builds custom computers, and makes pc games using Unity 3D. Jared is also a toastmaster, outdoorsman, and avid writer.

The Ontario Pavilion for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games translated an impression of one of the province's most recognizable landmarks, Niagara Falls, into a light, shimmering temporary exhibition space.
Marking Ontario's leadership in the field of sustainable design and innovation, the Pavilion showcased energy and water efficiency. Great care was taken to ensure a minimal ecological footprint, while the pavilion materials were lightweight, recyclable, low-energy, easily transportable and repurposed once the Games concluded.
The project won numerous awards, including the 2011 Ontario Association of Architect's Design Excellence Award, the 2010 Canadian Institute of Steel Construction's CISC Innovation Award, and the 2010 Design Exchange Awards Gold Medal in Temporary Structures.
Public protesting and demonstrations began one week ahead of the 2010 G20 Toronto summit, which took place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on 26-27 June.
